DE// Was ist denn das?
Tja, traurig aber wahr: ich bin Brillenträgerin.
Bis Ende des letzten Sommers konnte ich ja immer noch auf Kontaktlinsen ausweichen, aber mittlerweile finde ich es angenehmer im Alltag als Fruchtfliege herumzulaufen,
Dabei hasse ich es eigentlich. Und bis jetzt konnte ich mich auch noch nicht durchringen Fotos mit Brille zu machen, nichteinmal als Profilbild.
Ich weiß auch nicht warum, aber jedes mal wenn ich in den Spiegel schaue, schreit es 'Streber!' zurück. Anscheinend verfolgt einen die Schule doch weiter, auch wenn's vorbei ist. :)
Und jedes mal wenn ich all die perfekten Outfit-Posts auf anderen Blogs sehe, überlege ich mir lieber 3 mal, ob ich auf 'veröffentlichen' drücke, oder nicht. Keine Ahnung, wie viele Posts so schon dem Papierkorb zum Opfer gefallen sind.
Aber andererseits sehe ich nun mal ca. 90% der Woche so aus.
Also eine Lektion im neuen Jahr: nicht gerade 'Mut zur Hässlichkeit', aber Mut zum Alltäglichen. Keiner sieht immer perfekt aus.

Yeah, right, I'm wearing glasses.
Well, I hid that fact pretty well behind contacts till the end of last summer, but as circumstances forced me to make more use of my glasses I became kinda used to wearing them every day.
I hate it, though. And until now I refused being in photos while wearing them.
My mirror keeps telling me every day that I look like a nerd.
And every time I see these perfect outfit posts on other blogs I think twice whether I really want to upload mine or not. I have no idea how many posts already ended up as food for my recycle bin that way.
But still that's what I look like about 90% of a week, so the first lesson to learn this year: stick by your everyday self. Nobody's perfect all the time.
